Call 911 and request a police officer or emergency personnel to come to the site of the accident.
Take photos of the accident scene and the vehicles involved with your phone before they are moved or towed.
Check for witnesses.
Get the following information from all parties involved: Name, address, phone number, and the applicable insurance information.
Do not admit fault and don’t discuss the details of the accident with anyone except the authorities.
If your vehicle needs to be towed, contact your insurance agent. You may have coverage for that.
Submit a claim as soon as you can.
